PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Smart Planet sponsors are Individuals or organizations that provide the funding for the purchase of products and services that beneficiaries need for their health, safety and/or sustainability efforts.

BENEFITS

Sponsors receive up to a 10% discount on products and services found on the Smart Planet Marketplace and also have the option of being listed as a sponsor.   Qualified individuals and organizations receive a Smart Planet Sustainability Sponsor Certificate which can be renewed annually.

PROCEDURE FOR AFFILIATION

In order to protect the integrity of our platform, Smart Planet employs Know Your Client (KYC) protocols is to prevent the organization from being used, intentionally or unintentionally, by criminal elements for money laundering. For all potential sponsors Smart Planet employs the following KYC procedure:

1. Request complete identification information of the person or organization providing the funding.

2. Conduct Simple Due Diligence to verify the documentation that includes sponsor name and address. 

3. Conduct ongoing monitoring of the sponsors’ activities to ensure that they are not in conflict with the Smart Planet Mission.

 

Upon completing the due diligence review, the application will be notified by email of the outcome.  If the affiliation request is approved, then the application would be notified and and instructed on how to proceed with the affiliation process.

Smart Planet shall maintain records of its KYC information for inspection by pertinent authorities.
